The Lady Bulldogs started the season out on Tuesday, December 2, 2008, with a home game against the Haxtun Bulldogs. Peetz had a slow start with a score tied at six at the end of the first quarter and up 22-18 by the end of the first half but came out strong after halftime. The Peetz Lady Bulldogs finished the game with a victory, 44-28, beginning their season on a good start.
Nichole Burns had a double-double, finishing with 17 points and ripping down 10 rebounds. Libby Fehringer followed with 15 points and 6 rebounds. Breana Curtis put up 8 points and pulled down 6 rebounds.
